SL DisneyBound- Week 7: Kuzco (Boom Baby!)

Hey guys! So I got kind of lazy and stopped doing Disney Bound (wupz) that is until Nat told me what this weeks character was. Kuzco from The Emperor’s New Groove! That movie is possibly my favorite Disney movie ever! I mean, It has Llamas in it, who doesn’t like Llamas!? I would seriously watch that movie every night before I went to bed. So, of course, I had to put an outfit together this week.

I’m wearing this lovely red dress from Ison at Collabor88. It has to be one of my absolute favorites from this round. I paired it with the most PERFECT necklace for this look, from Epoque. When Nat told me who the character I instantly thought of this necklace. The outfit was, honestly, built around it. It was a little harder trying to find earrings, but I came across these beauties from [7891.] Perfect, right? I then topped it off with a little crown that came with a hair from Exile. I’m horribly proud of this outfit.

Hey guys! So this blog post has been a long time coming. I’ve been meaning to post it but haven’t had the time to get around to it! I’ve been busy with with Bees Through the Seasons (My first event! weee!) and helping with the June round of The Arcade Gatcha Event, so yeah, that’s where I’ve been! Anywho, I wanted to show you guys this wonderful shirt from The Secret Store for FaMESHed. The Secret Store never ever disappoints and has to be one of my favorite stores for cute casual wear. There are many colors and designs to choose from so if you haven’t visited FaMESHed yet, I suggest you do! My jean are also from The Secret Store, they are high waisted, which I must admit, I love. Last but not least, I’m wearing these fabulous earrings from Noodles for Bees Through The Seasons, cute right!? Go and pick them up!

SL DisneyBound – Week Five: Dory

Hey everyone! I’m so sorry I’m super late this week, I’ve gotten CRAZY behind with RL & SL lately and my blogging has taken a toll! I didn’t want to NOT post today and wait till tomorrow to post when I get home from work so I’m posting this really quick! Mind you this photo is not edited AT ALL! It’s just the screenshot with my outfit and the normal text. I’ll post an actual edited one tomorrow and with the stylized picture once I get home and update this entry!

Week 5 is inspired by the newly announced Disney Pixar moving Finding Dory! So how could we pass up on this opportunity to dress like Dory ourselves? I’ll write more tomorrow when I edit this but for now I need to go to bed! Goodnight! Looking forward to your Dory outfits this week!

A hint of spring.

I’m SO happy that Spring is finally here. Too bad when I look outside there is still snow on the ground! Soon enough! Spring means a whole new mess of releases from designers which I’m super excited for! There’s been a lot going on with events and new releases and I’ve been on top of all of it! Auxiliary will soon be releasing this adorable dress called the “Doll Dress” it comes with two options, a bow around the waist or no bow and in 8 different colors! Today I’m wearing the “doll” tone which features a super sweet pink!

Spring has really put me in the mood for green grass, feeling a nice warm breeze and I found myself being jealous of my avatar because I want to feel how she feels! I love love love this hair from Truth called Kasia! There needs to be more curly rigged mesh hairs but for now this one is absolutely perfect!

Skin Fair started earlier this month and there’s a TON of awesome skins, really you are in trouble if you are looking to just commit to one skin! One of my favorites from the new lines is Pink Fuel’s Alyx skin. I’ve been waiting for this one to release from all the teaser shots that Mochi always releases and let me say you will NOT be disappointed! With 10 different skin tones and a whole mess of different options including: Eye makeup, different eye shapes, different brow shapes and some really awesome lipstick/gloss options, you will not be let down! Disneybounding!

Disneybound ; Part Two

I know two entries in one day! I have a REALLY huge obsession with a tumblr blog called disneybound. Pretty much what disneybounding is when people dress up in their regular fashion (not costumes) to resemble a certain disney character. I’m leaving for Disney World tomorrow till next week and I myself purchased a few outfits to disneybound as! Mickey, Minnie, The Little Green Alien from Toy Story and Vanellope! I’m excited to use RL fashion into SL fashion for once! Actually the outfit my avatar is wearing is the exact outfit I will be wearing on Saturday! Who’s excited? This girl!

Since Disney is such a huge part of my life I really want to make it a trend with me that I try to Disneybound once a week. Actually, really thinking about it once I get back, I’d love to make this a 52 Week Disneybound Blogger Challenge! Picking a character every week and finding your best way to interpret that character in your own eyes! Hmm, does that sound like something that would interest you guys? If it does I’ll write up a formal thing when I get back and start the challenge! For now I’m just super excited about this look and can’t wait to see Mickey himself in person!

Tea & Mimosas

I’m sure, if you haven’t heard already, The Arcade has FINALLY opened with it’s third round! Who couldn’t be more excited with all the AWESOME items that it has to offer! Celeste & I decided to collaborate on our first blog for it and it’s jam packed with goodies from the event!

I’m sure you’ve all noticed that our heads don’t look like they normally do, (fashionably dead) has released another round of mesh heads for this round that are super cute and even have some awesome RARES with different types of animals! My favorite was the Mouse Head, I mean who can resist those cute little mouse ears? Not to mention you know my favorite mouse, Mickey and Minnie Mouse! We decided to play a little cat and mouse over our little picnic lunch from Tres Blah! I couldn’t stop until I completed the set and was so pleased when I did! I have a bit of an obsession with sl food and come on, how cute are these!?

Paper.doll released a really awesome top called the Bow Bandeau which features a huge bow over the top of your chest! Jim paired it with a few super cute things to make it super classy and chic! (Like she usually does) One of my favorite items was The Sea Hole skirt from The Arcade, another thing I had to have every one of! I decided to pair it with the new truth hair from the Arcade which is super cute and comes with different flower headbands! I have an obsession with flowers lately and these are just to die for!

Happy Birthday To Me!

It's My Birthday! Close Up

Well I’ve reached the quarter of a century, aka the year my car insurance goes down! I’m pretty excited to be 25, I have a lot of great things going on in my life right now and honestly for the first time, have absolutely no complaints! 2013 is proving to be a huge and wonderful year for me and I look forward to what the next 10 months have in store for me! I usually always do a post on my Birthday and I’m happy to announce I’m finally back from my surgery! Still have a little bit of pain but I’m well enough to finally be up and about! I’ve missed a lot of blogging and I have a lot of catching up to do, if it’s even possible but I’m looking forward to the challenge!

PXL recently released these super cute new gacha series of the Seven Sins. My favorite one and perfect for my birthday theme was gluttony! The detail of the sprinkles around the eyes with the pink eyeshadow is way too cute! It even comes with a tongue attachment with a cherry! How could you not love this skin? It’s too cute for words! This was one of the RARE out of the machine, but definitely this whole machine is worth quite a few tries!

Truth released a load of hair while I was gone and I’m sad I didn’t get to blog them all because I’ve been away due to my surgery but hopefully I’ll get them all in soon! This one is called Zendaya and features a long hairstyle and one side of the hair has a braid. I absolutely am in love!

I Knew You Were Trouble

Hi there! It’s me again! So I’m back with another mesh breast entry! I don’t do these often but I’d like to try to do a look incorporating them at least once a month! That is if people want to see them! Maybe let me know in the comments? Anyways! I have about two weeks before my surgery, after my surgery ideally I’m not sure how much I will be able to blog before I heal BUT I’m making my SL new years resolution to blog at least twice a week! This is definitely something I want to keep! I really love blogging I just need to make more time for it!

Anyways onto the fun stuff! Truth has released some really awesome hair recently! Especially those that are busty girl friendly! I’m really loving the new Vanya hair! It’s sexy, but not over the top and and just the right amount of thickness! I like the way that it flows over the shoulder and a really great long hair for blogging with clothing! Sometimes hair gets in the way of clothing that you can’t see it, but this hair shows all the goods and looks really awesome with jewelry!

Speaking of Jewelry, Maxi Glossamer released this super cute set for Collabor88 this month that has a ton of different options! I love that she overs a lot of her styles with different ways to layer them, it just allows you to be a little more unique and who doesn’t love to be unique in SL?

For all Lola’s Tango fans, Pink Fuel recently released some skin appliers for her skins for the mesh breasts! They allow your skin to match perfectly and no need for playing with color or saturation sliders! Literally with the click of a button and you never have to worry about them ever again! Exciting and easy!

Happy Holidays, With Love

I know, I know I’ve been a little MIA lately! The holiday season is here again so quickly and so many things to prepare for! On top of everything really getting my store started and quite a few exciting moves in terms of Noodles but we will get to that later in the entry!

All these releases from all of my favorite stores really have put me in the holiday spirit! My house is almost done decorating and I just need to trim the tree and we’ll be all set! It’s going to be a very Merry Christmas at the Oodles household hopefully soon! ColdLogic has thankfully answered my prayers for the fashion gods and set down on us three super cute dresses perfect for any holiday dinner! The best part, you can have your choice of solid colors of patterns, I decided to play with both in this entry! These dresses are called Noel, Cringle and Holly! See they even have super cute names! Worried about where to find your holiday best dressed? Definitely make ColdLogic the first stop on your holiday list!

And of course every girl needs some fabulous shoes with their new dress right? LaRoo has opened up shop just in time for the holidays! Who needs to buy gifts, you’ve been working hard all year, so you should treat yourself. LaRoo is a fully mesh shoe store that creates highly detailed and beautifully textured shoes! I’m really in love with all the options of these shoes that are easily modifiable with a great hud! Want to change the strap color or the shoe color? Buy the fatpack! You can now match your shoes with EVERY outfit possible! (The boots do not come with a hud but they are still just as awesome!) I’m really loving these studded boots called Clyde boots, granted I’m obsessed with anything that is studded but these have a cute and sexy appeal but can still be dressed up or dressed down! Don’t you just love versatility?

I’m pretty sure as soon as I saw the preview for these poses from !Bang called Deck the Halls that I was the first one at the store to pick them up! How CUTE are these?! I mean come on, who wouldn’t want to pose with a giant ornament! PS- Don’t you love these hairs from truth! The holidays isn’t slowing down truth’s hair designs! And is even creating a lot of super cute hairs to wear with those perfect holiday dresses and shoes! ;)

As for Noodles we’ve been participating in a TON of events lately! Between The Arcade, Collabor88 and Fifty Linden Friday, it’s been an exciting December for us! Of course we can’t forget the Vespertine Christmas Fair and Together For Sway. In this post I’ve worn three of the latest necklaces I’ve made and even a headband I’ve made! I hope you enjoy the accessories as much as I do!
