Collaborate in 2013!

Happy New Year! It’s been a nice restful holiday for Jim and I and it’s been awhile since we blogged! Sorry about that! At least for me, I really wanted to be with my family for the holidays and I decided to take an unannounced blog break but I’m back for a little bit! Just FYI, at the end of the month I will not be available and having surgery! I’m fine really, it’s just something health related that I have to take care of! Anyways, back to the entry!

We’re celebrating new years a little late in our awesome pose prop from The Loft & Exposeur called “Room of Balloons” It has a ton of pose options and even a few cute ones for your significant other! Jim and I were super excited about the theme this month, Pantone has named Emerald the color of the year and the Slytherin in us was super excited when we saw all the GREEN!

Tee*Fy and LaViere had some of my favorite releases this round the super cute bang hair called Natalia and the Ana Slouchy Stain Tank and Emily Mini Flare Skirt! Wore together and they make a super cute dress!

Happy Holidays, With Love.

I know, I know I’ve been a little MIA lately! The holiday season is here again so quickly and so many things to prepare for! On top of everything really getting my store started and quite a few exciting moves in terms of Noodles but we will get to that later in the entry!

All these releases from all of my favorite stores really have put me in the holiday spirit! My house is almost done decorating and I just need to trim the tree and we’ll be all set! It’s going to be a very Merry Christmas at the Oodles household hopefully soon! ColdLogic has thankfully answered my prayers for the fashion gods and set down on us three super cute dresses perfect for any holiday dinner! The best part, you can have your choice of solid colors of patterns, I decided to play with both in this entry! These dresses are called Noel, Cringle and Holly! See they even have super cute names! Worried about where to find your holiday best dressed? Definitely make ColdLogic the first stop on your holiday list!

And of course every girl needs some fabulous shoes with their new dress right? LaRoo has opened up shop just in time for the holidays! Who needs to buy gifts, you’ve been working hard all year, so you should treat yourself. LaRoo is a fully mesh shoe store that creates highly detailed and beautifully textured shoes! I’m really in love with all the options of these shoes that are easily modifiable with a great hud! Want to change the strap color or the shoe color? Buy the fatpack! You can now match your shoes with EVERY outfit possible! (The boots do not come with a hud but they are still just as awesome!) I’m really loving these studded boots called Clyde boots, granted I’m obsessed with anything that is studded but these have a cute and sexy appeal but can still be dressed up or dressed down! Don’t you just love versatility?

I’m pretty sure as soon as I saw the preview for these poses from !Bang called Deck the Halls that I was the first one at the store to pick them up! How CUTE are these?! I mean come on, who wouldn’t want to pose with a giant ornament! PS- Don’t you love these hairs from truth! The holidays isn’t slowing down truth’s hair designs! And is even creating a lot of super cute hairs to wear with those perfect holiday dresses and shoes!

As for Noodles we’ve been participating in a TON of events lately! Between The Arcade, Collabor88 and Fifty Linden Friday, it’s been an exciting December for us! Of course we can’t forget the Vespertine Christmas Fair and Together For Sway. In this post I’ve worn three of the latest necklaces I’ve made and even a headband I’ve made! I hope you enjoy the accessories as much as I do!

Meet Your Modern Day Princesses

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The year that LeLutka releases more Disney Princess themed hairs! Jim and I found two of our wonderful friends Jezibel Thorne and Octagons Yazimoto! These three grabbed me when I got home and told me to dress up like a modern day Rapunzel, well challenge accepted! Thankfully my outfit was SUPER easy thanks to Collabor88 and fashionably dead for creating this super cute dress that happened to be just the right color! Can I also mention how excited I was to have a hair that goes perfectly with my Tangles tiara! The best part about this hair besides that it’s absolutely stunning, it even comes with your own little Pascal! I’m just totally in love!

Jim decided to be a classier~ modern(lol) Jasmine! Pairing the Jasmine hair with the Noodles – Whole New World tiara! This hair is really awesome and the jewelry that comes with it (earrings and necklace) are absolutely fabulous! Lelutka really hit it spot on with this hair!

Jezibell got super sweet, picked up a bunny and became Alice for the day! Pairing her Alice hair with the Ingenue dress from Collabor88 this month! Jez really knows how to look totally cute and be fabulous at the same time! I love the bow that comes with the Alice hair, I can’t wait to shoot some more pictures with it!

Oct is probably the only person on the planet that could ever find a raccoon to put on a leash! Everyone needs their own little leashed Miko right? She’s painting the colors of the wind with her style looking super cute showing off the Pocahontas hair! I’m just absolutely in love with these releases! I sincerely hope that Lelutka continues this wonderful trend!

Hurry Hurry, Gather Around!

As I’m sure you are all already aware, The Arcade is back for it’s second round and back with a bang might I add! There’s tons of goodies for you to scoop up at a low price if you can try your luck and be one of those lucky people to grab the rares! I was fortunate enough to be invited back to The Arcade and continuing with my Fairy Tale theme from last round, I created some super cute Tiaras inspired by your favorite princesses!

My favorite addition to this round though is the new carousel created by the wonderful sister duo of Anya and Sue! These two also have a great project coming up called The Grove which is highly anticipated and I can’t wait to see it! The carousel is definitely a must see at the event! Sit on it, pose take a picture and click it to make the wonderful little sounds as if you were actually on a real carousel!

Some of my favorite items from this round are the Pididdle My Special Treasures necklaces! I’m pretty sure I hoarded them all! Auxiliary created some super cute Wings and Bows this round! The studded bows are definitely my favorite! I love plopping them on top of my head, especially with this new Exile hair called Beyond the Waves. Jim decided to rainbow it up for the day pairing her Unicorn Auxiliary Wings with the rainbow Granger Scarf from FateWear! These scarves are great and they came with a bacon one, which I had to pair with the bacon sneakers from Nardcotix.

And I’m Back!

Hey everyone! I know it’s been awhile! I was hit with Hurricane Sandy, thankfully our house was okay and my family was safe we did lose power for nearly two weeks but everything is good now and back to normal! It took me a little while to get back on track with a lot of things and hence why I’m blogging so late! I really want to apologize to the creators that were waiting for me to blog and I appreciate your patience with me! I’m doing everything my power to get back on track now and get all these posts up and running! Also thank you for all your concerns and comments and well wishes on plurk! They really kept me going through the tough times and I appreciate all of my friends and readers! You guys are great!

Normally I don’t do a large post like this showing more then one look but I just have so much to blog and I thought it would be nice to do a little compilation post! I hope you guys like it! On halloween (So sad that I missed Halloween this year due to the storm) ColdLogic released these really awesome dresses that I just fell in love with. I as drooling over them when I saw them on plurk and couldn’t wait to have them when I got my power back! All these dresses are rigged mesh and come in multiple different patterns and colors! I wanted to stick to my basics of blacks/whites and beiges and I’m just so in love with these! They move well with the body and can still give you a cute but sexy edge depending on the way you style them.

Truth has been releasing like CRAZY since I’ve been gone! Another thing I was drooling over were these hairs! How awesome are they! I’ve become a full time brunette and turned on my blondes for a little bit because that’s just now much I love the Frappuccino and Toast colors from the fades back! Shown in this post is Marley, Sara, Cyanne and released this week Tyler! These styles have been added to my favorites of truth, especially Sara and Tyler. As you all already know I’m a huge sucker for anything with braids and I’m really just in love love love.

Leaves on the Trees

Hey guys! Ok so first, I wanted to let you all know that our dear Natalee has been absent from blogging because Sandy had knocked out her power. She has power back now, thankfully, but still no internet. I’m really glad that she’s ok!Hopefully she’ll be back soon!

Anywho! Atooly Hunts is having a nifty little fall hunt, it start November 5th and runs till the 23rd. It’s called “Falling into the Seasons Hunt.” There are 25 participating stores and you are trying to locate an orange leaf. You can find the store list and hints . Today, I’ve blogged two of the items that you can find in the hunt. First, is this wonderful Arbor from Nani Poses. It’s very autumny and has poses built into it. Very cute. The second item are these pants from Medley. They are awesome! They come in a light red (the one I’m wearing) and a darker red. You guys should really check it out! You can never go wrong with free stuff!

Lights

Hey guys! For my look today, I’ve kind of traveled out of my “but I just want to be pretty” safe zone. I’ve got kind of a punkish, grunge thing going on (grunge for me, ok!?). I’m really, really loving this hair from Wasabi Pills. At first I wasn’t so sure, I’ve got a weird shaped head and the shaved part made it really stand out, but it’s really grown on me! I also love this long baggy sweater from The Secret Store. I adore their clothes! They usually make really girly, cute things, things that are right up my alley. This sweater is very versatile, you could wear it with just about anything, girly it up or, like I’ve done, punk it out.

For my accessories I went with this knitted chain scarf from Milk Motion. It was for a gatcha event last year so I’m not really sure if it’s still available. It’s been sitting in my inventory for awhile and I almost forgot I had it! I never knew what to wear it with! So when I found it sitting there, I thought, well I’m going to make this work! My tights are from G.L.A.M. I’m not entirely sure if they are still available, I got them during my noob days, years ago. I love them, though. You can tint them to any color you please and I mean, c’mon, they’re glittery. Enough said.

Stumblebum is back for more!

Can you believe we are almost over with January in 2012?! Stumblebum is back for it’s second round and it’s just as impressive as the first! Tons of items to love and buy at a small discounted price! My favorites especially were paper.doll, Honey, I’m Home! & Whippet & Buck! As always the quality and care into this event really shows through more than any other event! How could you not love Stumblebum?

I grabbed my favorite KittyCat Kelly for this picture in my new sky home by Honey, I’m Home! and my LISP bed that matches perfectly! The Honey, I’m Home! Skybox is amazing! With shades of purples and pinks, it really is a girl’s dream! The texturing is original and too cute! I never want to leave home anymore! This dress from Whippet & Buck the “Talk” dress is one of my new favorites. It’s sexy, comes in four colors and can be worn dress down or dressed up! Here I paired it with favorite pink tights (to match my new home of course) from MStyle, the Stumblebum Jewelry from Mood called “Ambition” and my new favorite G-Field heels!

Zoey from paper.doll has been at it again releasing this super cute shorts dress for Stumblebum worn by my lovely friend Jim! I love the floral pattern and the high waist belt! This outfit is perfect to wear on any occasion!

Sea Hole also released these sexy tops which I squeezed my co-writer Teresa into! I love the detailing around the collar and chest area! This shirt has a lot going on and it’s all working beautifully! Can’t forget to mention how cute is this piano from LISP that they released for Collabor88? Goes perfectly in my new home!

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Week 1 Champagne!

I’ve always wanted to do Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge and after seeing everyone complete last years in jealousy, I’m joining in this year! It seems like such a great accomplishment to stick with something for a year and I’m going to do my best to do it! Though I’m going to do this challenge a little differently! I’ve been experimenting with photoshopping pictures better so my first picture of an entry will be a photoshopped one as the second will be a nearly untouched version that will show the outfit better. I hope you guys are excited to come along with this journey on me as I am!

So just a few things about this outfit! I stopped by an event I never heard of callee Etheria2: Painted Ladies when Jewelers Dream! There was quite a few lovely things there, but by far my favorite was the pairing from Whippet & Buck and Undefined Lilies. I never usually take pictures in underwear on SL but I figured this was a perfect chance for a nice change. Not to mention Glitterati released this lovely MESH pose prop called Justified Couch (shown here in the natural color). It’s stock full of all sexy poses so I was a bit inspired! I absolutely love this couch, the texturing on it is absolutely jaw dropping! (Which I’m sure from the picture you can see for yourself!) This new hair also released from Milana is my new favorite! Stumblebum Round 2!

I had a lot of fun with this post. This event is probably going to be my favorite to blog! There’s so many great things! I’m also really excited to have used shadows and depth of field for the first time! Usually on my iMac I get a texture glitch with any transparent texture that disappears but since I used this pose prop I didn’t have to worry about that this time! This time around, one of my favorite stores TokiDoki has released this super cute ‘Stumble Bag’ (Shown here in Gray). Normally SL bags aren’t my forte but I really love the texturing on this bag and of course, like all of TokiDoki’s items it is wonderfully sculpted to fit your avatar perfectly!

As you guys already know about my huge mesh craze I’ve been going through lately, Aura released these really beautiful mesh earrings for Stumblebum as well. I love the textures on these earrings, they are very unique! And if you haven’t already checked out Aura’s other mesh releases you definitely should! They are unique and lovely, you are bound to be amazed!

Haut Monde is back with another great release for Stumblebum as well! The “Gia” dress which features a cute scrunched bow in the front that hugs the body. This dress is cute and yet sexy at the same time.

Hucci also released these lovely mesh pumps which I’m really excited about. They have a Suede look to them and I’m all about suede in real life, don’t judge me, it feels nice haha. They have a pretty nice shape to them as well! Wasabi Pills also had a new release with this super cute hair! Brande was always a favorite of mine from Fri.Day but since it was sculpted hair it goes through the shoulder, now that I have a similar version in mesh I can wear this all the time without having that worry!
