And I’m Back!

And I'm Back!

Hey everyone! I know it’s been awhile! I was hit with Hurricane Sandy, thankfully our house was okay and my family was safe we did lose power for nearly two weeks but everything is good now and back to normal! It took me a little while to get back on track with a lot of things and hence why I’m blogging so late! I really want to apologize to the creators that were waiting for me to blog and I appreciate your patience with me! I’m doing everything my power to get back on track now and get all these posts up and running! Also thank you for all your concerns and comments and well wishes on plurk! They really kept me going through the tough times and I appreciate all of my friends and readers! You guys are great!

Normally I don’t do a large post like this showing more then one look but I just have so much to blog and I thought it would be nice to do a little compilation post! I hope you guys like it! On halloween (So sad that I missed Halloween this year due to the storm) ColdLogic released these really awesome dresses that I just fell in love with. I as drooling over them when I saw them on plurk and couldn’t wait to have them when I got my power back! All these dresses are rigged mesh and come in multiple different patterns and colors! I wanted to stick to my basics of blacks/whites and beiges and I’m just so in love with these! They move well with the body and can still give you a cute but sexy edge depending on the way you style them.

Truth has been releasing like CRAZY since I’ve been gone! Another thing I was drooling over were these hairs! How awesome are they! I’ve become a full time brunette and turned on my blondes for a little bit because that’s just now much I love the Frappuccino and Toast colors from the fades back! Shown in this post is Marley, Sara, Cyanne and released this week Tyler! These styles have been added to my favorites of truth, especially Sara and Tyler. As you all already know I’m a huge sucker for anything with braids and I’m really just in love love love.

Like a Boy

Like A Boy

Hey guys! So, the other day, I had gone over to Burley while Natalee’s sim restarted. One of my old friends from a couple years ago was shopping there. I was so happy to see him! We started talking and he told me that he has started to make mesh clothing! So proud of him! His name is Noisia Steampunk and his mesh designs are just suburb! He gave me a couple pieces to try, the jacket and the pants. I adore the pants, the detailing that went into them are just excellent. They are unisex so both men and women can wear them. You can find his store, AAHAKEE, only on Marketplace at the moment, but he has plans to eventually open up a store in world. I’m really excited for him :D

To add to this look, I layered one of my favorite shirts from Pink Outfitters, in white. I aslo added this crown from LaViere for Collabor88. My shoes are an oldie but goodie from Kookie. I hope you guys enjoy this look and please check out on Marketplace!

Hey guys! As you can see, I’ve been trying to incorporate more color into my blog posts. I certainly don’t want to bore you guys with all my black and white! Anywho, Fameshed opened the other day! YAY! I always look forward to Fameshed, I need my monthly mesh fix! So I went and I bought a couple things, one of which was this lovely top from Pink Outfitters. Even though you can’t see it, the back of the shirt is cut fairly low and it has a bow that sits right where the dropped back stops. I’m really a sucker for little bow details.

I’m also wearing pants from ::Podium:: now, these aren’t from Fameshed but you can find them at ::Podium::’s mainstore. I don’t own too many mesh pants, I just think they look a bit silly on me. These pants are nicely textured and didn’t make my legs look huge :D The only problem I had with them though, was the fitting around the waist. You might have to fiddle with your shape a little to get them to fit perfectly. And, again, these shoes from G Field. I really just can’t get enough of them.

A Change of Pace

A Change of Pace

I’d like to first introduce you to one of my long time friends Lucie Bluebird! She owns Embody Poses, runs an awesome event named Lazy Sunday, has her own blog which you should totally check out here and is one of the nicest and most caring person I have ever met in my life. I’ve been dying to blog with a few of my friends and with my new challenge I’m giving myself now seems like the perfect time!

For this challenge, I’m challenging myself to blog EVERYDAY for 30 days! It’s going to be hard and I know I’ve tried this before but this time I’m going to stick it through! I invite any other bloggers to join me in this challenge, I personally will be starting today! I’m excited to really see if I can fill this out because I will definitely be proud if I can!

ColdLogic has released a ton of fall goodies recently and we all know how ready I am for fall! I’ve redone my entire sim to be a fall theme and I’m absolutely in love! I’m rarely on my platform these days! Lucie was so perfect for this blog because she has an amazing obsession with having to own EVERYTHING ColdLogic! Hehe, I knew when I wanted to blog some of their new releases she would be the perfect friend for the job! We had a lot of laughs picking out poses, styling (and me taking forever by the way!) but I totally love this picture of us! The pose is called ‘Friendship’ which is for sale at her shop Embody! It’s the perfect pose for us! I really love the ambrose dress from ColdLogic, especially that it comes with just the dress option and the paired coat and dress! When designers give options like these to layer it makes me super happy! ColdLogic is absolutely wonderful for giving tons of options!

Btw the way, Fennux is finally in it’s beta stages! If you were wondering what those cute little creatures next to us are, they are Fennux which are modeled after Fennec Foxes and they are textured by another awesome friend of mine Katharine McGinnis! I’m really excited to play with these guys, so far they have really awesome features and I feel like they are definitely going to be the next greatest breedable! You should check them out if you haven’t already!

Truth has been releasing more hair lately that I’m absolutely in LOVE with. On myself I’m wearing Guinevere which features these really amazing spinned curls and it’s just so pretty I’m in love! ♥ Guess I’ll see you guys tomorrow!

Hey lovelies! Today I’ve got a a gorgeous, gorgeous dress to show you guys. It’s from Whatever and you can get it at Swag Fest when it opens on October 1st. Can I just say, that when I saw this dress, I wanted to squeal with excitement. I absolutely LOVE back, bottom of the dress. It’s long in the back and the draping is beautiful. It’s to die for, guys! Black and White

Hey guys! So today I put together this outfit around the Ison boots from Vintage Fair. When I saw them, I feel deeply in love but I didn’t buy them right away. It wasn’t till a couple days ago I decided to stop being cheap and go for it. I’m so happy I did. I’ve barely taken them off. I’ve paired the boots with one of Ison’s dresses and fur shoulders from House Of Fox, which may I add, I am also in love with.

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Week 5 Patina! ; ONE

I have to say for Patina, I had quite a difficult time finding this particular shade of green but I think I did okay in the end don’t you?

The good thing about taking a blogging break is when you come back there’s a ton of new releases that you are lucky enough to cover! Paper.Doll has released a NEW skin called Effy! Shown here in the Fair tone! The face is really cute and sweet and The eyebrows are really nice and full! I think this skin is adorable and there are quite a few nice make up options as well! You should definitely check it out! Also as part of her February VIP Gift you can check out a Valentine’s version of Effy just for the low cost of the VIP group fee! Zoey gives tons of great gifts to her VIPs every month and is one of my favorite VIP groups!

Lamb is back and I couldn’t be more thrilled! She released two new hair’s this round and of course with the new blonde tones, though I’m still partial to my Powder tone for my platinum blonde! This hair is called Oleander which is a very full hairstyle with long bangs (edited here so you could see the face of the skin!) and I love it! I wish I had this much hair on my head in real life! So it’s been awhile! I’m still behind on this but I took all the pictures ahead of time this time and I should be caught up finally on 52 Weeks of Color in the next day or two! I don’t want to bombard you guys with posts but hey who would be upset about more pictures and more goodies right? Also! Happy Valentine’s Day since I failed to blog on V-Day but doesn’t mean I don’t hope you guys had a great one! Onto the post shall we?

Aura has released the Helena Skins for her VIP group! I love the face and the lips! They are absolutely beautiful! Aura always has such great monthly gifts for her VIP group you should definitely consider joining!

So I’m probably the most thrilled about Elikatira’s latest release for mesh hair called Abbey! It’s beautiful, long, different and the bow at the bottom is to die for! I didn’t even demo this hair when I saw the picture I just bought it! I absolutely love it!

My shirt from Maitreya is one of Maitreya’s older styles but I still think its a goodie! I love this shirt and when I came across it I knew I had to wear it for Iron! Okay another post coming soon!
