SL DisneyBound – Week Eight: Aladdin & Jasmine (Couple’s Week!)

So I was going to wait until week ten to do a couple week but I really just couldn’t wait any longer! So DisneyBound this week is going couple week! What does that mean for the challenge this week? Grab a friend, your partner, or dress up twice yourself and do both looks! Have fun with this because this week it’s TWO characters! I’ve never really do blogs with people on StyleMinions unless they are bloggers for us but I decided to pester and bug my friend Kaz Nayar to dress up as Aladdin, and after lots of frustrating shopping (and me being nagging and as possibly annoying as I can be) we finally had our look together! Also, I cheated a little bit this round because I couldn’t resist using the Jasmine hair from LeLutka! It’s one of my favs!

I had a brilliant idea for a pose so of course I had to ask one of my really awesome friends Chandni in hopes that she could create it for me! And low and behold she did it and in a day! (Impressive talent she has!) The Arabian Nights Couple pose from HopScotch was created specifically with this weeks DisneyBound in mind! Even more awesome? I’m really excited for the upcoming Fantasy Faire this year with lots of amazing teasers! My favorite among them is this outfit from Plastik called Vandariel. What’s amazing about this outfit is it’s beautifully rigged mesh with some stunning intricate details! The gems are a hud that can change and like a lot of Plastik’s products, comes in every color that you could imagine or desire!

Warm Up With Collabor88

Happy April! I can’t believe it’s already April, it doesn’t feel like 2013 is already this far into it! I’ve been having a lot of fun turning my sim into spring and transforming it over from the snow! Down with snow and yay flowers! Collabor88 has a mess of new awesome releases and here’s just some of them!

One of my favorite skin stores, PXL is a featured guest in collabor88 this round and has created the super cute skin named Jade in four different make ups! I’ll have a closer up view of these on a later date but I’m absolutely in love with the Cherry Make up! The red lips are super pretty! Tee*fy has another amazing round of releases for this round as well, my favorite among them is the slouchy booties shown here in Black. and paired with the Tres Blah Vintage Blouse!

Celeste decided to hit up fashionably dead for their super cute releases! I’ve really been feeling fashionably dead the last few rounds especially, they have been creating some of my favorite pieces to my inventory. Not to mention the yummy jewelry which was absolutely adorable! Who doesn’t love food! Even mesh food!

The Pretty Reckless

Collabor88 is back with a new look with an AWESOME build created by the super talented Tegan Serin from floorplan. I have to say this theme of Collabor88 has to be my favorite! New Romance has such a beautiful color palette and all the designers really pulled their all when creating their items for it! I literally wanted EVERYTHING.

Celeste & I had some fun decorating around our sim with all of the new furniture we got! Scarlet Apple came out with these beautiful hedges which are perfect for spring and floorplan. released this beautiful pergola with a super cute picnic bench and table! It looks like our little garden is totally complete now!

I’m madly in love with the new Auxiliary skin! I’ve always been a fan of Ivy’s skins and this one is just so cute I couldn’t resist! I’m wearing Love called New Romance available at Collabor88 along with this super cute fluffy BOOM skirt called Minka Skirt! I paired it with the new D!va hair and the Intrigue Co. Starlet Glasses which feature some really awesome lashes! Who wouldn’t feel like a true star in these?

Jim looking as posh as she ever does chose the new Clawtooth hair, u.f.o. burst into bloom skirt and elate! Piper Blazer and together a perfect look just in time for Spring! Happy Birthday To Me!

Well I’ve reached the quarter of a century, aka the year my car insurance goes down! I’m pretty excited to be 25, I have a lot of great things going on in my life right now and honestly for the first time, have absolutely no complaints! 2013 is proving to be a huge and wonderful year for me and I look forward to what the next 10 months have in store for me! I usually always do a post on my Birthday and I’m happy to announce I’m finally back from my surgery! Still have a little bit of pain but I’m well enough to finally be up and about! I’ve missed a lot of blogging and I have a lot of catching up to do, if it’s even possible but I’m looking forward to the challenge!

PXL recently released these super cute new gacha series of the Seven Sins. My favorite one and perfect for my birthday theme was gluttony! The detail of the sprinkles around the eyes with the pink eyeshadow is way too cute! It even comes with a tongue attachment with a cherry! How could you not love this skin? It’s too cute for words! This was one of the RARE out of the machine, but definitely this whole machine is worth quite a few tries!

Truth released a load of hair while I was gone and I’m sad I didn’t get to blog them all because I’ve been away due to my surgery but hopefully I’ll get them all in soon! This one is called Zendaya and features a long hairstyle and one side of the hair has a braid. I absolutely am in love!

I Knew You Were Trouble

Hi there! It’s me again! So I’m back with another mesh breast entry! I don’t do these often but I’d like to try to do a look incorporating them at least once a month! That is if people want to see them! Maybe let me know in the comments? Anyways! I have about two weeks before my surgery, after my surgery ideally I’m not sure how much I will be able to blog before I heal BUT I’m making my SL new years resolution to blog at least twice a week! This is definitely something I want to keep! I really love blogging I just need to make more time for it!

Anyways onto the fun stuff! Truth has released some really awesome hair recently! Especially those that are busty girl friendly! I’m really loving the new Vanya hair! It’s sexy, but not over the top and and just the right amount of thickness! I like the way that it flows over the shoulder and a really great long hair for blogging with clothing! Sometimes hair gets in the way of clothing that you can’t see it, but this hair shows all the goods and looks really awesome with jewelry!

Speaking of Jewelry, Maxi Glossamer released this super cute set for Collabor88 this month that has a ton of different options! I love that she overs a lot of her styles with different ways to layer them, it just allows you to be a little more unique and who doesn’t love to be unique in SL?

For all Lola’s Tango fans, Pink Fuel recently released some skin appliers for her skins for the mesh breasts! They allow your skin to match perfectly and no need for playing with color or saturation sliders! Literally with the click of a button and you never have to worry about them ever again! Exciting and easy!

Collaborate in 2013!

Happy New Year! It’s been a nice restful holiday for Jim and I and it’s been awhile since we blogged! Sorry about that! At least for me, I really wanted to be with my family for the holidays and I decided to take an unannounced blog break but I’m back for a little bit! Happy Holidays, With Love.

I know, I know I’ve been a little MIA lately! The holiday season is here again so quickly and so many things to prepare for! On top of everything really getting my store started and quite a few exciting moves in terms of Noodles but we will get to that later in the entry!

All these releases from all of my favorite stores really have put me in the holiday spirit! My house is almost done decorating and I just need to trim the tree and we’ll be all set! It’s going to be a very Merry Christmas at the Oodles household hopefully soon! ColdLogic has thankfully answered my prayers for the fashion gods and set down on us three super cute dresses perfect for any holiday dinner! The best part, you can have your choice of solid colors of patterns, I decided to play with both in this entry! These dresses are called Noel, Cringle and Holly! See they even have super cute names! And of course every girl needs some fabulous shoes with their new dress right? LaRoo has opened up shop just in time for the holidays! I’m pretty sure as soon as I saw the preview for these poses from !Bang called Deck the Halls that I was the first one at the store to pick them up! How CUTE are these?! I mean come on, who wouldn’t want to pose with a giant ornament! PS- Don’t you love these hairs from truth! The holidays isn’t slowing down truth’s hair designs! And is even creating a lot of super cute hairs to wear with those perfect holiday dresses and shoes!

As for Noodles we’ve been participating in a TON of events lately! Between The Arcade, Collabor88 and Fifty Linden Friday, it’s been an exciting December for us! Of course we can’t forget the Vespertine Christmas Fair and Together For Sway. In this post I’ve worn three of the latest necklaces I’ve made and even a headband I’ve made! I hope you enjoy the accessories as much as I do!

Meet Your Modern Day Princesses

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The year that LeLutka releases more Disney Princess themed hairs! Jim and I found two of our wonderful friends Jezibel Thorne and Octagons Yazimoto! These three grabbed me when I got home and told me to dress up like a modern day Rapunzel, well challenge accepted! Thankfully my outfit was SUPER easy thanks to Collabor88 and fashionably dead for creating this super cute dress that happened to be just the right color! Can I also mention how excited I was to have a hair that goes perfectly with my Tangles tiara! The best part about this hair besides that it’s absolutely stunning, it even comes with your own little Pascal! I’m just totally in love!

Jim decided to be a classier~ modern(lol) Jasmine! Pairing the Jasmine hair with the Noodles – Whole New World tiara! This hair is really awesome and the jewelry that comes with it (earrings and necklace) are absolutely fabulous! Lelutka really hit it spot on with this hair!

Jezibell got super sweet, picked up a bunny and became Alice for the day! Pairing her Alice hair with the Ingenue dress from Collabor88 this month! Jez really knows how to look totally cute and be fabulous at the same time! I love the bow that comes with the Alice hair, I can’t wait to shoot some more pictures with it!

Oct is probably the only person on the planet that could ever find a raccoon to put on a leash! Everyone needs their own little leashed Miko right? She’s painting the colors of the wind with her style looking super cute showing off the Pocahontas hair! I’m just absolutely in love with these releases! I sincerely hope that Lelutka continues this wonderful trend!

Hurry Hurry, Gather Around!

As I’m sure you are all already aware, The Arcade is back for it’s second round and back with a bang might I add! There’s tons of goodies for you to scoop up at a low price if you can try your luck and be one of those lucky people to grab the rares! I was fortunate enough to be invited back to The Arcade and continuing with my Fairy Tale theme from last round, I created some super cute Tiaras inspired by your favorite princesses!

My favorite addition to this round though is the new carousel created by the wonderful sister duo of Anya and Sue! These two also have a great project coming up called The Grove which is highly anticipated and I can’t wait to see it! The carousel is definitely a must see at the event! Sit on it, pose take a picture and click it to make the wonderful little sounds as if you were actually on a real carousel!

Some of my favorite items from this round are the Pididdle My Special Treasures necklaces! I’m pretty sure I hoarded them all! Auxiliary created some super cute Wings and Bows this round! The studded bows are definitely my favorite! I love plopping them on top of my head, especially with this new Exile hair called Beyond the Waves. Jim decided to rainbow it up for the day pairing her Unicorn Auxiliary Wings with the rainbow Granger Scarf from FateWear! These scarves are great and they came with a bacon one, which I had to pair with the bacon sneakers from Nardcotix.
