Our Love is Madness

So literally since the new Muse song Madness has come out I repeat it non stop. It’s like a drug. I’m in love with it! Give it a listen?

There are so many new releases out! My linden balance and I are in trouble! I wish I could blog all day to catch up, actually I might blog a few times today! First off starting with some Truth, Auxiliary and ColdLogic releases!

Love this little ‘poof’ hair from Truth called Carmen, shown here in my favorite color Swedish. Carmen is a rigged mesh hair which shows a tasseled about look! This style reminds me of how I wear my hair in real life! ColdLogic has a TON of new releases out but my favorite is this shirt called Waid shown here in ebony! It’s another rigged mesh which is cut a little higher. It can be paired with a tank top or left with jeans to create a cute casual sexy look!

Auxiliary has been blowing my mind lately with their releases! These Skinny Jeans are exclusive this month to FaMESHed and I’m head over heels! There’s so many different washes to cose from, they are shown here in Ink! These jeans are rigged mesh as well and textured to perfection!

A new to me store called Flightless will be, I believe, debuting at the new gacha festival called ‘The Arcade’. This necklace will be available called Deer Bead Necklace, shown here in the rare prize pearl! It’s mesh and beautiful and I’m in love! I look forward to new releases from them!

Speaking of The Arcade I’m SO excited for this event to start! They just released an awesome teaser video, which you should totally watch here! The event opens up September 15th, are you ready to try your luck at gacha?

Stumblebum is back for more!

Stumblebum is back for more! ; ONE

Can you believe we are almost over with January in 2012?! Stumblebum is back for it’s second round and it’s just as impressive as the first! Tons of items to love and buy at a small discounted price! My favorites especially were paper.doll, Honey, I’m Home! & Whippet & Buck! As always the quality and care into this event really shows through more than any other event! How could you not love Stumblebum?

I grabbed my favorite KittyCat Kelly for this picture in my new sky home by Honey, I’m Home! and my LISP bed that matches perfectly! The Honey, I’m Home! Skybox is amazing! With shades of purples and pinks, it really is a girl’s dream! The texturing is original and too cute! I never want to leave home anymore! This dress from Whippet & Buck the “Talk” dress is one of my new favorites. It’s sexy, comes in four colors and can be worn dress down or dressed up! Here I paired it with favorite pink tights (to match my new home of course) from MStyle, the Stumblebum Jewelry from Mood called “Ambition” and my new favorite G-Field heels!

Zoey from paper.doll has been at it again releasing this super cute shorts dress for Stumblebum worn by my lovely friend Jim! I love the floral pattern and the high waist belt! This outfit is perfect to wear on any occasion!

Sea Hole also released these sexy tops which I squeezed my co-writer Teresa into! I love the detailing around the collar and chest area! This shirt has a lot going on and it’s all working beautifully! Can’t forget to mention how cute is this piano from LISP that they released for Collabor88? Goes perfectly in my new home!

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Week 1 Champagne!

I’ve always wanted to do Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge and after seeing everyone complete last years in jealousy, I’m joining in this year! It seems like such a great accomplishment to stick with something for a year and I’m going to do my best to do it! Though I’m going to do this challenge a little differently! I’ve been experimenting with photoshopping pictures better so my first picture of an entry will be a photoshopped one as the second will be a nearly untouched version that will show the outfit better. I hope you guys are excited to come along with this journey on me as I am!

So just a few things about this outfit! I stopped by an event I never heard of callee Etheria2: Painted Ladies when Jewelers Dream! There was quite a few lovely things there, but by far my favorite was the pairing from Whippet & Buck and Undefined Lilies. I never usually take pictures in underwear on SL but I figured this was a perfect chance for a nice change. Not to mention Glitterati released this lovely MESH pose prop called Justified Couch (shown here in the natural color). It’s stock full of all sexy poses so I was a bit inspired! I absolutely love this couch, the texturing on it is absolutely jaw dropping! (Which I’m sure from the picture you can see for yourself!) This new hair also released from Milana is my new favorite! Stumblebum Round 2!

I had a lot of fun with this post. This event is probably going to be my favorite to blog! There’s so many great things! I’m also really excited to have used shadows and depth of field for the first time! Usually on my iMac I get a texture glitch with any transparent texture that disappears but since I used this pose prop I didn’t have to worry about that this time! Click here for my first post about Stumblebum!

This time around, one of my favorite stores TokiDoki has released this super cute ‘Stumble Bag’ (Shown here in Gray). Normally SL bags aren’t my forte but I really love the texturing on this bag and of course, like all of TokiDoki’s items it is wonderfully sculpted to fit your avatar perfectly!

As you guys already know about my huge mesh craze I’ve been going through lately, Aura released these really beautiful mesh earrings for Stumblebum as well. I love the textures on these earrings, they are very unique! And if you haven’t already checked out Aura’s other mesh releases you definitely should! They are unique and lovely, you are bound to be amazed!

Haut Monde is back with another great release for Stumblebum as well! The “Gia” dress which features a cute scrunched bow in the front that hugs the body. This dress is cute and yet sexy at the same time.

Hucci also released these lovely mesh pumps which I’m really excited about. They have a Suede look to them and I’m all about suede in real life, don’t judge me, it feels nice haha. They have a pretty nice shape to them as well! Wasabi Pills also had a new release with this super cute hair! Brande was always a favorite of mine from Fri.Day but since it was sculpted hair it goes through the shoulder, now that I have a similar version in mesh I can wear this all the time without having that worry!

Happy New Year!

Happy Near Year! ; ONE

Can you believe it’s already the end of 2011? I don’t know about you all, but I’ve had a FABULOUS year! For once everything went right in my life and honestly I couldn’t be happier than I am today! How was everyone else’s year? I hope you all had positive experiences that I was able to experience! And if not then there’s a whole new year for you to celebrate with your loved ones and of course, what new years is famous for, get drunk!

Luckily, Tres Blah released this, at least in my opinion, perfect party dress! Who doesn’t want to sparkle while ringing in the new year? Today was the, sadly, FINAL round of FLF and it has had an amazing run and the final round definitely did NOT disappoint! I spent way too much but I guess maybe I’ll make my new years resolution to SAVE money, ha. These poses from Glitterati called “Drink” are also from FLF and probably my favorite pose pack from them thus far. It really made me laugh!

No remember my readers! If there are cameras around and you are drunk, AVOID! The last thing you want to wake up to is some family member or friend uploading a super embarrassing picture of you that they will, of course, tag you in! Seems like I possibly can’t take my own advice! ;D Gogo recently posted this hud that is available for free on the marketplace that allows you to pose your hands, eyes and face! Let’s just say I’ve had too much fun with the duck lips & crossed eyes feature.

Winter Charm

So many new releases out and it’s all exciting! With the start of the new year ahead of us, designers seem to be going out with a big bane! Burley & Maitreya both have some lovely new releases recently and I couldn’t help but snatch them up immediately!

Maitreya recently started releasing a series of mesh items and, like all of maitreya’s items they are fabulous. One of my favorite things from them was this Athena Mesh Sweater, especially in green so I can wear it when I’m RPing at Hogwarts:Your Story as well! I was really impressed with the quality of it and the back of the sweater is lovely scooped back! Whoever said sweaters can’t be sexy clearly hasn’t tried this one on yet!

Burley has become one of my favorite hair stops this year. Their textures are unique from other hair stores and really it makes them a stand out against their competitors in my opinion. Of course their unique styles helps as well! There were multiple hair styles released recently, be sure to check Burley out!

This is a short LOTD post but I have to say with all the new MESH releases coming out lately, I’m falling head over heels! The new Maitreya release, as well as Celoe & Mon Tissu are to die for and I will show you some more mesh looks over the next few days! Here’s a mesh dress/tunic from Maitreya! It’s absolutely beautifully textured and I think I’m going to have trouble taking it off all week!

Get Edgy with FOUR CORNERS

Get Edgy with Four Corners ; ONE

It’s that time again! The fresh air of a new and WONDERFUL event! This one thought up by the genius behind Croire, Emily Kaestner! Four Corners is a special event taking place on the Meow Sim which features four mood boards and select stores pick a board and create something to match! The Mood I’m showing you right now is from the “Bikes & Spikes”, but seriously all other moods were not a let down!

My favorite item from the entire event was this Jacket from Beetlebones. It’s hard to believe that this is MESH! It’s absolutely beautiful textured and honestly Beetlebones, with all my purchases there, have never been a let down! I’m excited to welcome this jacket to my inventory! It comes in Black or Tan but honestly, both would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s inventory!

The pants and top are the new release for Four Corners from League! Just like any league item they are wonderful, especially the pants! The newest item I’m excited about is I came across a new store called Bellballs who created these AMAZING earrings! The detail and care that went towards making these is incredible and a definite must buy!

Christmas Dinner

This week has had me planing what I’ll be cooking for christmas dinner so I bought a bit of my rl into sl with this  pictures theme centred around that.  This is an older dress that I have had for a while from Cynful but is still just as pretty as the day I bought it.  I wanted to add a little splash of christmas into the outfit so I popped over to Izzie’s and tried out here new christmas gatcha machine and won this really cute snowflake necklace.  I also wanted to keep the snowflake theme going a bit so I had a little search around on marketplace and found these really subtle but adorable leggings from Rha that just went perfectly.  And of course you can’t have a christmas themed outfit with out a little red or green so I grabbed my Mstyle shoes and this gorgeous bracelet from Mandala and I was all dressed and ready to go…Just needed the christmas table.

For this I couldn’t go past the amazing decorations that Y’s house has recently bought out.  As is the norm for Y’s house everything is impeccably textured and designed and couldn’t help but buy all of it haha.  And when your thinking decorating and christmas how could you passably go past What Next.  I dropped in and grabbed the dinner plate settings and some fun garlands for the wall.

Will You Collabor88 With Me?

Will You Collabor88 With Me? ; ONE

So with all the events lately, and I believe I’ve said this before, Collabor88 gets more exciting every round. I can’t walk out of there without at least buying 7-8 items if not more! Seriously, this event has not been a let down yet and I don’t expect it to be anytime soon! What I really loved about this one was their “Prom” theme and that it was double the designers! I bought so many things but these here are among my favorite pieces!

This dress from Whippet & Buck is probably my current favorite from them and came in three amazing colors, but shown here in black! And if you didn’t already know my recent obsession with Illusory skins, this one exclusive to the event is my new favorite and I’ve barely taken it off since! Earthstones is one of my favorite places to get jewelry in SL and these pieces were just beautiful sculpted and textured. They reminded me of a necklace I already owned previously that I love but these are a winterized version with a nice chain and some great matching earrings!

Baffle! Let’s talk about them for a moment. Seriously, I know I talk about how much I love things but what can I say, I pick good things to blog. I don’t think Baffle gets enough credit in the Pose Store world. I rank Baffle probably among, if not, the best pose store there is. Her pose props are always beautiful made and have great poses that make any picture complete. I own probably Samantha Smadga’s entire store and I’m proud to say it. This is her Christmas Tree and train which comes with various poses of decorating the tree or watching the train. They are super cute, you should check it out if you need a Christmas Tree for your home!

Vive9 also released four hairs recently, I picked up this one and two others. I love the details of these new hairs that have been released, especially the front. It’s very realistic and at the price you can’t argue it!
